Canton screenwriter and director creating new Western series
Sue Ann Taylor, a Canton resident and owner of Canton-based Blue Heron Films, is the screenwriter, producer and director for "Side Trails," set in the 1800s revolving around a family traveling west in search of better prospects in the aftermath of the Civil War. Multiple networks have expressed interest in the series, with a targeted release date of early 2027.
